Shoe CareLeather To care for leather shoes, clean them regularly with a soft brush or damp cloth. Apply a leather conditioner every 1–3 months to keep the leather supple, and use a water-repellent spray for moisture protection. Polish the shoes for shine and added protection. Allow shoes to breathe between wears and store them in a cool, dry place, ideally in a cloth bag or original box, to prevent dust and fading. Following these steps will ensure your leather o’merlas remain in excellent condition for years to come. Suede & Nubuck To care for your suede and nubuck o’merlas, start by brushing them regularly with a soft suede or nubuck brush to remove dirt and restore the nap. For stains, use dry cloth to gently rub the affected area, being careful not to damage the fabric. If your shoes get wet, let them dry naturally and avoid heat sources; once dry, brush them to restore the texture. To protect against moisture and stains, apply a suede/nubuck protector spray before the first wear and reapply periodically. Store shoes in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees to help maintain their shape. Regular care will keep your suede shoes looking fresh and prolong their lifespan. Avoid using water, creams, oils, waxes, or shoe polishes on suede. For any major stains such as grease, oil, wine etc., we recommend bringing your O’Merlas to a professional cobbler for care.
